Mission of Operation Fairway

Operation Fairway is a focused 90-day initiative designed to accelerate the growth of Veterans Golf Program by aligning branding, sponsorship development, and community outreach into a coordinated strategy.

The objective is simple:

Increase veteran participation and secure foundational sponsorship support while finalizing the VGP brand identity.

Strategic Priorities

VGP will focus on four priorities during this initiative:

1️⃣ Veteran Program Growth
2️⃣ Sponsorship Development
3️⃣ Community Partnerships
4️⃣ Brand & Marketing Alignment

Brand development supports these goals but will not delay funding or program momentum.

Current Situation

Over the past several months, VGP has been developing a stronger brand identity and digital presence. While significant progress has been made, the organization must now shift focus toward sponsor engagement and program growth.

Key updates:

• Logo Version 2 completed January 2026
• Website Version 2 developed January 2026
• Logo Version 3 is currently in development
• Event booth and outreach infrastructure completed
• Sponsorship outreach window approaching

Operation Fairway ensures these elements move forward together.

Brand Development Direction

The VGP brand will consist of a three-mark logo system.

Primary Logo

The main identity used across the website, documents, and communications.

Horizontal Logo

Used for sponsor materials, presentations, and banners.

Badge / Seal

Used for apparel, patches, merchandise, and community identity.

The goal is to finalize the logo system quickly so it can support sponsor outreach and marketing.

Marketing Role in Operation Fairway (Mission Accomplished)

The Marketing Team is responsible for delivering the final brand system that supports sponsor outreach and community visibility.

Key deliverables include:

• final VGP logo Shield
• brand color palette
• typography standards
• sponsor presentation materials

• marketing assets for events and outreach

These assets will form the foundation for VGP marketing and communications moving forward.

• sponsor outreach
• community partnerships
• donor relationships

Examples include:

• regional banks
• healthcare organizations

• golf industry partners

A small number of strong partnerships can produce significant funding for the program.

• brand visibility for sponsors

Businesses will be invited to join VGP as community partners supporting veterans.

Sponsorship Materials

The following materials will support sponsor outreach:

Leadership Philosophy

Veterans Golf Program operates under a guiding principle:

Progress Over Perfection

Branding will continue to evolve, but the mission of serving veterans and building community must continue moving forward.

Closing Message

Veterans Golf Program has a unique opportunity to build a strong and lasting community around veterans and the game of golf.

Operation Fairway represents the next step in that journey.

With focused leadership, strong partnerships, and continued dedication to the mission, VGP can grow into a powerful platform for veteran connection and support.
